As president of PCL Construction Services, Inc., Al is responsible for PCL’s commercial buildings operations in the United States. 

Al has been with PCL for thirty-five of the forty years he has invested in the construction business. He started as an estimator, acquiring field experience as a surveyor and advancing into project management. His PCL career has taken him across Canada from Vancouver to Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto, and now to Denver where he is responsible for all of the commercial building business units based in Denver, Minneapolis, Orlando, Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Hawaii.

Al is a PCL Construction Holdings Ltd. board member and is executive vice president of PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc., responsible for all the Health, Safety, and Environment activities within US Operations. He is also a member of the Corporate Services Steering Committee (CSSC) and Safety Program User Group (SPUG).

He is a founding member of the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) Gold Seal Program, and is director of the Associated General Contractors of America. Further affiliations include membership in the Canada Colorado Association and the Alexis de Tocqueville Society (United Way).
