As president and chief operating officer of Heavy Industrial, PCL Constructors Inc., Peter is responsible for all of PCL’s industrial operations in both Canada and the United States. He oversees seven independent operating companies with a staff compliment of over 600 people, and a craft workforce in excess of 5,000.

Peter joined the PCL family of companies in 1987 and has held numerous positions including estimating manager, project manager, operations manager, and a number of executive positions. With over thirty years in the construction business, he has heavy industrial construction experience with an emphasis in petrochemical, refinery, oil and gas, power plant, and pulp and paper projects.

Peter serves on the PCL Construction Holdings Ltd. board of directors and is a member of the Corporate Services Executive Committee (CSEC) and the Ethical Conduct Compliance Committee (ECCC).

In addition to his professional affiliations, he participates in various industry committees and associations.

Peter holds a power engineering diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), is a registered mechanical engineering technologist (Alberta and British Columbia), and is a Gold Seal certified project manager.
