Vice President and District Manager

Edmonton – Buildings & Civil Construction
As vice president and district manager, Rob is responsible for PCL’s Edmonton Buildings, Civil, and Special Projects operations. He joined PCL in 1994 as a project manager and was promoted to manager, Special Projects, in 1997. Rob was appointed district manager in Regina in 2003, relocated to Calgary in 2008 to take on the role of district manager in that city, and was appointed vice president and district manager in 2012. In 2014, Rob joined PCL Edmonton as vice president and district manager. 
Rob has a bachelor of applied science degree in civil engineering from the University of Waterloo, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and is a Gold Seal certified project manager. Rob is responsible for overseeing PCL’s sustainability strategy in Canada and is a director of the Canadian Green Building Council, which oversees administration of LEED® certification of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. Rob is also a director of the Canadian Construction Association, and serves as the association’s representative on the Construction Resource Initiative Council, founded to drive change in the way the industry deals with building resources and waste.
