Edmonton,
Alberta (February 17, 2017)
– PCL Construction is proud to announce that six of its projects have been
named to ReNew Canada’s Top 100
Infrastructure Projects list, granting PCL Gold level status on the list.
Rob
Holmberg, PCL’s President & COO, Canadian & Australian Operations said,
“It is always nice to be recognized for the construction projects we are a part
of. These six projects are a great example of PCL’s expertise in a wide variety
of civil and buildings sectors across Canada.”
Of the three
projects being delivered via a P3 contract, PCL is the design-builder of two
DBFM (Design-Build-Finance-Maintain) hospitals being delivered under
Infrastructure Ontario’s Alternative Financing and Procurement model in
partnership with Plenary Group, showcasing PCL’s industry-leading expertise in
employing this delivery method.
According to
the report, more than $186 billion is invested in the biggest infrastructure
projects currently under development in Canada. The annual ranking uses
contract value in order to place the projects. The list will be celebrated with
top contractors at a dinner to be held on February 21, in Toronto.
