The projects in which the PCL family of companies is involved account for nearly $7.5 billion of the record $114 billion being invested in the 2012 Top 100 projects. “The scope of our work spans the fields of healthcare, justice and correctional facilities, transportation, and education, and we are proud to play a role in reinforcing and creating our country’s infrastructure system,” said Paul Douglas, PCL president and CEO. “There is still a lot of infrastructure work to be done, and we look forward to being involved in more projects in 2013.” Notable projects include the Humber River Regional Hospital, Calgary Airport Authority Parallel Runway project, SAIT Polytechnic Trades and Technology Complex, and the MaRS Discovery Centre Phase 2. The annual Top 100 report is a ranking, by cost, of the biggest infrastructure projects in Canada. It is released with the January/February issue of ReNew Canada magazine.
