PCL's field managers oversee all field construction on a major project. They develop and implement the construction plan, and are responsible for a project’s budget, schedule, productivity, and general performance.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Individuals in the field management job stream will have experience in the following areas: supervisory, estimating, concrete formwork, costing, mechanical/electrical building systems, lump-sum and construction-management contracts, and subcontracts management. They also possess effective verbal and written communication, as well as planning and scheduling skills. Field supervision requires individuals to have a strong knowledge base about equipment selection and safe work practices.
