​LOS ANGELES, CA - The PCL family of companies congratulates PCL colleague Wil Painter, P.E., F.ASCE, on receiving the 2011 Construction Management Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

ASCE is an organization that represents more than 140,000 civil engineering professionals and works to advance technology, encourage learning, and develop civil engineer leaders.
The Construction Management Award recognizes a member of the society who has made contributions on a national level to the field of construction management as a practitioner, educator, or researcher, in the form of written presentations, scholarly work, or notable performance.
Wil receives this award in honor of his decades of innovation and leadership on many significant construction projects, particularly during preconstruction. He is known for his creative means and methods and for introducing basic design solutions that enhance project value, quality, and performance.
A seventeen-year member of the PCL family, Wil has worked on such notable PCL projects as STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. He is currently lending his preconstruction expertise to PCL’s Charlotte office for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Football Complex project.
