DENVER, CO (December 5, 2012) – PCL Construction and its employees made their largest contribution ever to Denver’s Mile High United Way by donating $1,670,918 million to this year’s campaign. This the fifth consecutive year that PCL has contributed over $1 million to the Mile High United Way. Since 1999, PCL in Denver has donated over $10 million to the organization.
“I am so very proud of our employees who have once again demonstrated their generosity and commitment to our community,” said Peter Beaupré, PCL president and chief operating officer. “I am equally proud of our strong partnership with the Mile High United Way.”
In addition to a record-setting donation, 92 percent of employees donated – an all-time high. To encourage participation and awareness, the company hosted various event and activity fundraisers including a dodge ball tournament, an employee cooking competition, and a hallway golf tournament which raised $5,204.
