Saskatoon, SK (November 17, 2014) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce that Aaron Yohnke has been promoted to the position of district manager of the Saskatoon office of PCL Construction Management Inc.
Yohnke succeeds former PCL Saskatoon vice president and district manager Todd Craigen, who has transferred to PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc., based in Vancouver.
As the PCL Saskatoon district manager, Yohnke will oversee all Northern Saskatchewan construction operations. Also, he will collaborate on province-wide initiatives with PCL Regina vice president and district manager Sean Hamelin, who has been overseeing Southern Saskatchewan operations since 2013.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Yohnke has led projects throughout Western Canada and Ontario during his 14-year career in the construction industry. He brings a diversified background to his role as district manager of PCL’s Saskatoon operations, having previously held positions such as estimator, project manager, construction manager, and operations manager for the PCL family of companies.
Yohnke’s cross-sector experience covers such areas as commercial, institutional, civil, and light industrial, varying in scope from smaller, unique projects to megadevelopments. He actively participates in construction industry associations, and is Gold Seal certified in project management by the Canadian Construction Association.
