PCL Joint Venture Awarded $1.5B Potash Mine Facility Expansion

The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce the recent award of the Agrium Vanscoy potash
facility near Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, to a joint-venture partnership between PCL Industrial Management Inc. and SNC-Lavalin Inc. The Agrium facility is located 40 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The plant currently processes approximately two million tonnes of potash per year. The $1.5 billion expansion will add an additional one million tonnes of capacity. The facility will remain in operation while the construction is underway. Construction will begin in the New Year with completion slated for the second half of 2014.
