DENVER, CO - The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce that we are now ranked sixth on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) list of the Top 100 Green Contractors, moving up from eighth place in 2010.
On the subcategory level, PCL placed first in retail, and fifth in both health care and sports/entertainment.
The list, published in ENR’s September 19, 2011, issue, recognizes companies that have achieved significant revenue in 2010 for contractors’ services generated from projects that have been registered with, or certified by, third-party green building rating systems. Significant projects that contributed to PCL’s green revenue include the San Diego Airport expansion, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and Tesla Treatment Facility.
LEED® Rating Systems set standards for measuring a building’s environmental impact, along with water and energy efficiencies. At the time of submission, PCL had 332 LEED Accredited Professionals and LEED Green Associates company-wide. These dedicated construction professionals continually contribute to increasing our expertise in the area of sustainable construction.
