EDMONTON, Alberta – The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce that we have again been named a Platinum Club member in Canada's Best Managed Companies program.
“After what has been another challenging year in our industry, it is gratifying to again see PCL’s commitment to business excellence recognized by this highly regarded national program,” said Paul Douglas, PCL president and CEO. “In the current economic climate, sound management practices remain as important as ever to our continued success.”
Established in 1993, Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies is the country’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian-owned and -managed companies with revenues over $10 million.
Membership in the prestigious Platinum Club is reserved for companies who have maintained a standard of excellence for at least six consecutive years in the original program (50 Best Managed Companies).
Members are reevaluated yearly to ensure the integrity of the club, as well as the companies’ consistent pursuit of business excellence, innovation, and stakeholder value. This award marks the seventeenth time PCL has been recognized by the Best Managed Companies program and PCL’s ninth consecutive year in the Platinum Club.
