LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana (April 7, 2015) – PCL Industrial Construction Co. celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony with more than 50 local business and community members last week. PCL plans to demonstrate what has made it one of FORTUNE® magazine’s “Best 100 Companies to Work For” ten years running, by being a major supporter in the community through job creation and philanthropy.

To welcome PCL to the Lake Charles community, George Swift, CEO of the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance assisted with the ribbon cutting ceremony. “We welcome PCL to Southwest Louisiana. The magnitude of the industrial projects in our region is attracting major operations here. We are pleased to have this award-winning worldwide firm to help SWLA grow”, said Swift.
The new office is currently pursuing petrochemical and oil and gas projects in the area. The Lake Charles office is part of PCL’s Heavy Industrial companies, which responds to the unique industrial construction needs of clients in the petrochemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, mining, and power and cogeneration industries.
