This 4,000-square-foot tenant fitout for Clio is part of Aspen Properties' revitalized Edison building in downtown Calgary. The scope comprised a kitchen/eating space with an open ceiling, including benches and a bar-height area attached to the kitchen island to encourage gatherings at lunchtime. A chalkboard wall was added, accompanied by an 80-inch television. The meeting rooms and offices incorporate floor-to-ceiling glazing with accent walls that match the furniture, as well as floor-to-ceiling whiteboard walls to facilitate collaboration. PCL worked with the client to develop the existing space to meet their needs, which included using existing features, in that way reducing the overall cost of the project.
