Project Overview

This project consisted of the assembly of 156 modules for Shell Canada Energy's Scotford Upgrader Expansion 1 project, located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. PCL’s scope consisted of the assembly and erection of structural steel, the fabrication and installation of pipe spools, and the installation of heat tracing and insulation. The owner supplied all piping and structural material and arranged transportation of the modules to site.

As a testament to PCL’s ongoing commitment to quality workmanship, the client awarded the team with a prestigious Flawless Quality Award on completion of this project.
