Project Overview

The Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, consists of several structures built over 22 acres. The facility provides a new administration headquarters for the New Mexico Army National Guard, as well as facilities to service and house its Black Hawk helicopter fleet. The AASF features a 75,000-square-foot hangar/administration building; a 16,400-square-foot storage building; a guard house; a fuel storage area; and 455,000 square feet of concrete air field paving.

The AASF was one of the largest construction projects to break ground in New Mexico in 2010, and it set the New Mexico National Guard’s standard for building excellence. The project was completed in spring 2012 and is certified LEED Gold.
