Delta Airlines Sky Club

Project Overview

This 10,000-square-foot Sky Club Lounge for Delta Airlines, on the roof of the South Satellite at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, helps ease traveler stress and make travel experiences more enjoyable. The project required the upgrade of the structure below the proposed Sky Club. The upgrade was achieved by installing new columns, beams, and a roof, all while surrounding airport activities continued unabated.

The lounge boasts food service facilities, work areas, a bar, and a well-appointed relaxation area. Interior treatments featured the finest finishing materials. An elevator from the concourse level was constructed to deliver passengers directly to the Delta Airlines greeter, who guides the way to a restful environment with high-touch service.

The work was located on the Airport Operations Area in and around active aircraft operations. The client requested that workers in the public areas around the concourse level have close coordination to minimize operational interruptions.
