DFD Fire Station Remodel

Project Overview

The Denver Fire Department Remodel, funded though the City’s voter-approved Better Denver Bond Program, consisted of interior remodels to five stations throughout the Denver metro area. The remodels included new flooring and paint throughout, completely redesigned kitchens, restroom renovations, upgraded electrical service, and retrofitting gender-specific locker rooms.

City of Denver constraints allowed only a certain number of stations to be down at a time to ensure the City has adequate coverage for medical and fire emergencies. This required the completion of these stations in two separate, very short, four-week phases. PCL completed both phases on time, and left a very satisfied owner with a high-quality end product.
