The St. Albert Fire Station #3 & Fire Headquarters project is a new 22,000-square-foot, four-bay facility. It is home to eight fire and EMS vehicles, eight dormitory rooms, office space, training rooms, a fitness area, and a 60-foot tower for hose drying and exterior repel training. Now the city's fire headquarters, the facility also includes an evidence room, a hazardous materials storage room, and an emergency command center that serves the city and surrounding areas.
The facility was designed to achieve, and did achieve, LEED Gold certification. PCL’s LEED services facilitated efficient document assembly, validation of credits, and final document assembly, resulting in a smooth approval process for this modern building.
