Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts

Project Overview

This stunning opera house welcomes up to 2,043 patrons to enjoy live entertainment at the highest level of acoustic excellence. The traditional four-tiered, European horseshoe-shaped auditorium, lined with resonant wood and plaster, provides unparalleled intimacy between the audience and the stage, with every seat positioned for the best possible sightlines. The facility also consists of a four-story main reception area that faces University Avenue, a generous rehearsal room, a ballet studio, a box office entrance, and back-of-house areas. Lounges are part of the house’s luxurious offerings, and underground parking is available for approximately 200 vehicles.

PCL’s team ensured that every detail of this stunning facility was properly attended to. Delivery of the Four Seasons Centre involved adapting materials not previously considered by the local building codes, and that was just one of many challenges that PCL handled to ensure superb results.
