Hard Rock Cafe - Yonge Street

Project Overview

Toronto’s Yonge Street location is the Canadian flagship project for Hard Rock Café. This project consisted of the 7,000-square-foot renovation of a turn-of-the-century, neglected historical building into a new, state-of-the-art restaurant and nightclub. Exterior work included historical restoration of the facade, and new storefront systems and signage. Interior work consisted of a new basement-level prep kitchen, ground-level production kitchen, ground- and second-level cocktail bar, ground- and second-level restrooms, elevator installation, and all new interior floor, wall, and ceiling finishes.

In order to meet the client’s aggressive six-month schedule, the existing main-floor facility and the second-floor tenant spaces were demolished to allow for the new build-out of systems and interior finishes. The food service equipment and audio/visual packages required extra attention to detail in order to comply with the client's strict standards and tight construction schedule.
