The Reedy Creek Emergency Services Building project called for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot fire station. The main structure is masonry block, concrete tie beams, and structural steel columns and joists. There are three main sections of the building: a one-story area for the sheriff’s department and offices, a two-story living quarters and classroom area, and an apparatus bay to house the fire trucks.
Completed on Disney property, this project had many themed elements and high-end finishes. The project was completed with virtually no client-generated punch list items, and final commissioning of all the building equipment and appliances was completed in less than a week.
