Turtle Creek Casino Hotel is a seven-story, 137-room hotel with an attached 70,000-square-foot gaming room, as well s restaurants, retail, and buffet. Gaming, meeting, and banquet facilities are supported by a 125,000-square-foot back-of-house. The casino hotel replaces an original casino on the same site, owned and operated by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
Overall, the entire entertainment and hotel complex is 330,000 square feet and was recognized by the G2E Casino Design Awards as the Best Architectural Design of a Casino Resort Under $200 Million. Features include an interior, two-level waterfall, contemporary finishes, illuminated glass and steel entrance canopy, cultural exhibits, fine dining, and a nightclub, and a mechanical system upgraded to achieve optimum interior air quality.
