Located in the Education and Library buildings at the University of Regina, this project comprised 10 phases in nine locations for the nursing program and library. PCL was engaged thanks to a familiarity with the University’s operations and the buildings, as well as a solid reputation for delivering on aggressive schedules.
The aim of this project was to expand the nursing program and consolidate the library’s programs. A portion of the library was renovated for eight interactive meeting rooms, and two conference rooms. The nursing program required extensive hazardous waste removal prior to commencing work.
The schedule was extremely compressed, and the space had to be completed in time for the fall semester. PCL worked closely with the client's in-house design team to synchronize the design and construction phases, which resulted in a project completed on time and on budget.
