US Bank - Cash Vault Relocation

Project Overview

The US Bank, Renton cash vault project was a 12,500-square-foot tenant improvement in an industrial park to create a secure location to handle the processing and storage of cash for US Bank. Relocating the cash vault operation consolidated three of US Bank’s operations at one location and placed them closer to their client—the Federal Reserve.

The US Bank’s cash vault operations had to be completely relocated on a short schedule and with a fixed date. Additionally, the building permit was issued 34 days late on a 120-day contract. The project team was able to not only meet the deadline, however, but received the certificate of occupancy early, thus allowing the owner to start moving in one day prior to contract substantial completion.
