Whitehorse Multiplex Phase II Jeux du Canada Games Centre

Project Overview

At 215,000 square feet, and with three ice rinks and two field houses, the Canada Games Centre is the largest venue of its kind in Northern Canada.

Completed in 2005 it served as a host venue for the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Today this legacy facility is a family-friendly place meeting the fitness needs of Whitehorse residents.

Facility highlights of the preengineered structure include Olympic-, leisure-, and NHL-sized ice arenas, dedicated field-house space, a combination gymnasium and field house, an indoor running track, and a children’s play area.
