Starlight Casino

The completed casino is a 168,000-square-foot entertainment destination with a 65,000-square-foot gaming floor—one of the largest in BC. Other facilities include a show lounge, a sports bar and an authentic oriental restaurant. It also includes 200,000 square feet beneath the principle structure for parking with an additional 280,000 square feet in external parking.

The substructure is founded on steel piles connected by concrete pile caps and grade beams. The first level of the super-structure is concrete with succeeding levels built with structural steel and glulam members. The envelope consists of TPO and SBS roofing, corrugated metal cladding and aluminum composite panels as the vertical components.
