This project is a 32,000 sf manufacturing facility located in Brandon, South Dakota. The project includes 3,600 sf of offices, 3,900 sf exterior hazardous storage, and 150 sf explosion containment peroxide bunker support structures. The facility was delivered on a design-build basis, with PCL serving as the sole point of responsibility for all design, engineering and construction activities. Essentially, the main building houses and supports a sophisticated coating line that produces Bergquist's proprietary thermal conductive gasketing material. Several hazardous containment areas are located within the project.
