Project Description
Minneapolis City Center is a three-million-sf mixed-use downtown development occupying two entire city blocks in Minneapolis between Sixth and Seventh Streets, and Nicollet Mall and Hennepin Avenue. Its development sparked the revitalization of the downtown Minneapolis core, acting as a catalyst for numerous projects that followed it: City Center Parking, Multifood Tower, Carson Pirie Scott Store, Retail & Malls.
The original interior of the Forum Cafeteria (Mick's) was completely disassembled and rebuilt in its original condition within City Center. Due to the fast-track construction process, the changing scope of work was being continually documented by change orders as intended. The Marriott City Center was also part of the development, but was constructed for a different owner under a separate contract.
