Rich has 40 years of safety and health management experience in the government, process chemical, and construction industries and serves as corporate director, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for PCL’s US operations. He is responsible for assisting PCL’s 75 HSE professionals in leadership and support of HSE programs and initiatives and with all other aspects of PCL’s incident prevention process. Rich has a bachelor of science degree in entomology from Iowa State University and a master of science in industrial management from Central Michigan University. He is a retired US Air Force pilot and lieutenant colonel and a certified safety professional (CSP), and the current chairperson of the National Construction Safety Executives.
