EDMONTON, AB (Feb. 3, 2014) – PCL Construction is announcing the evolution of its senior executive management with the unveiling of the Office of the CEO, marking a step forward for the organization as it heads towards $10 billion in annual revenue. Since 2003, PCL has grown by almost $5 billion and is closing in on $8 billion in annual revenue.

“I’m very pleased with the executive team we’ve assembled to address the needs of our growing organization” said Paul Douglas, PCL President and CEO. “The new Office of the CEO positions long-serving leaders in our organization to guide growth through their special expertise, tailored to the sectors and regions in which their businesses operate.”
The members of the newly created office include Paul Douglas (President and CEO), Dave Filipchuk (President and COO, Canadian & Australian Operations), Shaun Yancey (President and COO, US Operations), Ian Johnston (COO, Heavy Industrial), Rob Holmberg (COO, Buildings), Luis Ventoza (COO, Civil Infrastructure), Gordon Panas (CFO), and Steve Richards (General Counsel).
“The Office of the CEO structure allows us to add more value for our customers and partners,” added Douglas. “This group will ensure we are bringing the power of all of our professionals to the right client at the right time.”
Country COOs will be responsible for the Buildings and Civil Infrastructure sectors for their respective geographic areas. Company-wide sector COOs will be responsible for performance in their respective sectors across all borders. The CFO will add top-level executive management in the areas of Finance; Business Technology; Risk Management; and Property, Land, and Equipment. The General Counsel will provide top-level executive management in the areas of Legal, Human Resources and Professional Development, and Communications. Health, Safety, and Environment continues to report directly to the CEO. Regional presidents and vice presidents will continue to look after and support their respective districts.
