Denver, CO (September 27, 2018) – PCL Construction is pleased
to announce that the company has ranked #17 on Engineering News-Record (ENR)’s
2018
Top Green Contractors List—a
list the organization has been recognized on for 11 straight years.
The Top Green Contractors list is compiled using a survey
that ranks contractors based on revenue from projects registered with or
actively seeking certification from third-party rating groups such as the US
Green Building Council. This year, the PCL family of companies generated approximately
$1 billion in green building revenue.
“The ranking is an important milestone that reflects our
dedication to delivering measurable benefits for our clients, the communities
where we work, and the environment,” said Scott Beckman, PCL’s director of
sustainability.
In May, PCL’s Punahou School, Grades 2–5 Neighborhood, Phase
1a project received the Kukulu Hale Sustainability Development Award from the
Hawaii chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties
(NAIOP) for being registered as a LEED® Platinum building. The Punahou School
is one of the many projects that contributed to PCL’s ranking.
