Agate Bay Solar Project

Project Overview

The Agate Bay Solar project was an engineer, procure and construct 12-megawatt AC ground-mounted solar farm located in Eagle Point, OR. This project was designed and built to provide power to over 3,000 homes in the region. The design is based on a 1,500-volt DC module system with approximately 34,000 solar panel “modules” that will rotate on more than 1,000 single-axis trackers to follow the sun. This 80-acre site was built in eight months in a joint effort of PCL resources from Seattle’s Special Projects division and our Toronto-based solar experts.
