Enright Capital is a three-story office complex located at a prominent intersection between Calgary’s central Beltline and Sunalta communities. The project includes two-level underground parking with 54 stalls, retail on the main floor, and office space on the upper two floors. The office spaces provide unimpeded panoramic views of Calgary’s downtown skyline, while the retail spaces benefit from open exposure to the adjacent 14 Street SW and 11 Avenue SW.
PCL's Special Projects division provided value engineering to ensure the project remained in line with the owner's budget. Working with the client and consultants to review and adjust significant elements (such as the structural concrete design, glazing, and cladding systems) limited the number of owner-requested changes and redesign requirements, and the project design was finalized.
This early constructability review allowed the project to flow and achieve a successful budget and schedule performance outcome.
