The capital of Ontario and the center of Canadian commerce, Toronto is home to many of our national clients, innovative pilot projects and an exceptionally talented team of over 600 construction professionals led by Bruce Sonnenberg, senior vice president and district manager.

As our executive lead for Toronto, Bruce is complemented by Marc Pascoli and Monique Buckberger, both vice president and district managers. Under their leadership, we boldly and optimistically step into the next chapter of our Toronto journey.

With overall responsibility for district operations in the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario, Bruce is a 30-year, second-generation PCL employee. Under his leadership, we’re building the future of PCL’s Toronto District.

A Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction inductee, Marc began his construction journey as a co-op student, then progressed into leadership roles in Ottawa, Calgary and Toronto.

Monique, the newest addition to Toronto’s district management team, succeeds Kelly Wallace, who has returned to his roots to lead our Winnipeg District. Monique has led some of PCL’s most high-profile projects in Winnipeg, Regina and Vancouver and brings 25 years of extensive knowledge in buildings and civil work.

Our Toronto District management team is a union of innovators focused on driving measurable value to clients’ bottom lines. Under the leadership of Bruce, Marc and Monique, our Toronto office is inspired, empowered and determined to deliver excellence.

“We’re excited to welcome Monique to our Toronto leadership team,” said Bruce. “As we venture into this new era, Marc, Monique and I look forward to collaborating with our clients, consultants and trade partners to build success, together.”
