Agate bay is a 12.8 megawatt ground-mounted solar project that spans 80 acres in Eagle Point, Oregon. Agate Bay will generate enough electricity for approximately 3,000 homes, based on a 1,500-volt dc module system with approximately 34,000 solar panel modules. These modules will rotate on 664 single-axis trackers to follow the sun. This new solar farm will provide the community of eagle point with clean energy while preserving wetlands and protecting endangered species, such as fairy shrimp and wooly meadowfoam.
