PCL’s extensive preconstruction planning and coordination with the owner’s team helped set the stage for a successful project. The project team created a three calendar, multi-shift schedule to accommodate around-the-clock work that was required to complete the scope within the nine-week timeframe. Key procurement items including overseas stone and tiling, rooftop AHU’s, custom millwork, hurricane rated windows, and custom lighting were targeted early, with all products being purchased and delivered to local warehouses before construction began. Product delivery was carefully and precisely coordinated throughout the construction duration in order to meet critical installation dates. PCL’s meticulous dedication to schedule control resulted in the Ritz-Carlton, Naples opening its doors to guests on-time, with luxurious, updated guestrooms and sophisticated contemporary restaurants for patrons to enjoy while taking in stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico.
