This grassroots process steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) plant for Husky's Tucker Thermal project is located west of Cold Lake, Alberta. The commercial production facilities process up to 30,000 barrels per day (bpd) of bitumen; treat 120,000 bpd of produced water; and generate 90,000 bpd of 100% quality steam.

As overall site manager throughout construction, PCL delivered this project on budget and ahead of schedule. On completion, the plant was recognized as one of the Top 20 Projects of the Year by Alberta Construction Magazine, and the client extended thanks for "a very well executed project."
