Toronto, ON (August 9, 2021) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce that Monique Buckberger has been promoted to the role of vice president and district manager for our Toronto district, effective August 9, 2021. Monique will be joining the district management team of Bruce Sonnenberg, senior vice president and district manager, and Marc Pascoli, vice president and district manager. Monique will report to Bruce Sonnenberg, senior vice president and district manager (Toronto).
Monique began her career with our Winnipeg district in 1995, working on the Norwood Bridge project. Since then she has held numerous roles in different districts, including that of operations manager in Regina and project director in our BC Region. Most recently she was district manager for our Winnipeg region.
“Monique brings an extensive skill set in both buildings and civil infrastructure work,” said Craigen. “During her career with PCL, she has worked on many notable projects, including the Regina Stadium, Manitoba Hydro Place, the Disraeli bridges, and The Post in Vancouver. We look forward to seeing her future work in Toronto.”
Monique graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. She is a CCA Gold Seal Certified project manager and holds a certificate in project management (honors) from Red River College.
