Edmonton, Alberta (October 16, 2023) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce that two of our team members have been selected for the On-Site Magazine + SiteNews Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction list: Geoff Howe, district manager with PCL Ottawa, and Ashvin Ghurburrun, civil senior project manager with PCL Calgary.
Geoff began his PCL career as an estimator in Toronto where he worked with alternate delivery models and mastered estimating, pursuing and securing profitable work.
One of his early key roles was as design manager on the successful Toronto Pan Am Aquatic Centre, which PCL built for the 2015 Pan Am Games. He progressed with PCL through various assignments and operational roles in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg and Vancouver, and now works in his hometown of Ottawa where he oversees work valued at more than $3 billion.
Ashvin, a senior project manager for civil projects with PCL Calgary, has an 18-year track record of achievements that spans bridges, infrastructure and geotechnical design. His experience includes boosting concrete design and quality assurance for LaFarge Precast in Calgary and managing remote infrastructure projects for Parks Canada.

The 2023 Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction honorees have been chosen by a panel of judges who evaluated their professional achievements, innovation, leadership and community involvement. The program is in its fourth year.
