Edmonton, Alberta (September 22, 2025) – PCL Construction is pleased to congratulate two of our team members who have been selected for this year’s On-Site Magazine + SiteNews Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction list. Sara O’Malley, senior project manager with PCL Constructors Canada Inc. and Chris Terriff, operations manager with PCL Industrial Management both received this honor.

Sara has held significant leadership roles for multiple P3 healthcare projects across Eastern Canada. Starting as a student in 2010, in her more than 14 years with the company, she has held multiple roles from field engineer up to her current role as senior project manager on the $3.2 billion QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion project. Sara embodies the skills required to be a leader at PCL. Her consistent drive for excellence, perseverance through project challenges and dedication to building team unity inspires her teams to perform at the highest level.

Chris has been with PCL for over 18 years, also joining the organization as a student. Chris’ diverse experience includes managing preconstruction, fabrication, modularization and field construction in oil, gas, petrochemical, utilities, power, carbon capture, and hydrogen markets. Having led several major industrial projects, Chris is known for turning frontline insights into applied innovation and for empowering crews to perform at their best in the field.

The 2025 Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction honorees are chosen by a panel of judges who evaluate their professional achievements, innovation, leadership and community involvement. The program is now in its sixth year.
