When Geoff Glueckstein joined PCL in 2024, it marked the continuation of a long and distinguished career in construction that began with a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Although his professional path eventually led him deeper into the construction side of the industry, Glueckstein has consistently positioned himself at the intersection of design and construction, driven by a passion for transforming conceptual ideas into tangible structures.
In his role at PCL, Glueckstein focuses on aligning client aspirations with the practical realities of construction, ensuring that each project is both visionary and viable. His leadership in integrated design-build efforts spans a wide range of sectors, including civic, cultural, higher education, healthcare and mission-critical facilities. This breadth of experience has enabled him to thrive within the collaborative nature of the design-build delivery model, where designers and contractors work in tandem from the outset.
Central to Glueckstein’s approach is a deep commitment to listening to clients and understanding their goals. He then works to translate those ambitions into built environments that reflect and support their values. Glueckstein’s decision to join PCL was rooted in his dedication to defragmenting the design-construction value chain. He views PCL as a leader in integrated project delivery, helping to restore the unified “master builder” model that once defined the industry. Over the past several decades, the construction field has worked to reconnect the fragmented functions of design and building, and Glueckstein sees PCL at the forefront of that movement.
A strategic thinker and natural mentor, Glueckstein is passionate about guiding the next generation of builders and aligning business objectives with resilient, meaningful design.
