Sean Scott, a senior project manager at PCL, has built a career defined by creative problem-solving, strong client relationships and a passion for mentorship. One of his favorite projects was the retrofit of a retail space at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, where the team delivered a vibrant, candy-themed environment for the M&M’s brand. Drawing inspiration from the Times Square location but ultimately creating a completely unique experience, the project showcased Scott’s ability to meet high expectations and tackle complex challenges.

Scott’s journey with PCL began in 2010, influenced by a mentor who encouraged him to pursue the dynamic world of construction over design. That advice led him to a career fair during his sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, setting him on a path that would include leadership training and rapid advancement through roles from field engineer to project manager. Today, he is heavily focused on technical builds for mission critical data center and manufacturing clients, helping deliver high-quality results in a rapidly evolving sector.

As an employee-owner at PCL, Scott thrives in a culture built on camaraderie and shared commitment. Passionate about giving back, Scott serves on the executive board of the ACE Mentor Program, guiding Twin Cities high school students through real-world design and construction experiences. His dedication to mentorship reflects his belief in empowering the next generation of industry professionals in the Midwest.
