The Air Liquide Etiwanda LIN Expansion enables Air Liquide to minimize its power consumption and production costs while increasing production of liquid nitrogen – a widely used commodity in the medical, food processing and industrial fabrication industries.
Constructed in three phases consisting of underground, civil and mechanical work, PCL installed concrete foundations, structural steel, pipe supports, above-grade piping, insulation and industrial coatings, underground HDPE piping, a ground grid, duct banks and finish grading, as well as set all process equipment including the compressor system. We also inspected all pipes used in an on-site clean room using a UV light and performed an oxygen service cleaning on all process piping.
