As a leading global manufacturer of technologically advanced seeding and tillage equipment, Bourgault Industries needed to expand their operations. Their new innovation building is a 63,000-square-foot pre-engineered facility with offices, meeting and changing rooms, a maintenance area, lunchroom and additional support spaces.  

The unique facility caters to Bourgault’s strong emphasis on quality, which is shown through their intricate shop space. The shop area consists of approximately 51,000 square-feet for research, development and production of farming equipment and includes 11 overhead cranes, dust collection systems, and painting bays to allow work to continue on their prototypes year-round – something they couldn’t do prior to their new building.

The preconstruction process enabled the team to present innovative building techniques, forward-thinking design decisions and various scope options to the client early-on.  Bourgault Industries now has a facility that expands their capacity to design and research new products, ensures they remain a global competitor, and provides numerous employment opportunities to the surrounding areas.
