Since opening its doors in 1960, the Halifax International Airport has continued to grow and evolve with the changing times. We’ve had the pleasure of working with the airport authority for 16 years across several renovations to create a smooth, easy traveling experience for passengers.

With the age of the building, along with the continual changes and expansions, each project means many unknown conditions. However, with our construction expertise and creative solution provider focus, we are able to analyze and propose quick solutions.

The Air Terminal Building Check-In Process Improvements project included many challenges working in the heart of the airport. With thousands of daily passengers and staff, we were tasked with creating a modern, automatic check-in process to improve baggage efficiency, security and passenger experiences. As the airport was operational during construction, we created detailed, phased plans to complete the project with no disruptions while maintaining smooth operations.
