A key component of Ke Kilohana is its affordable housing costs. All units sold out prior to breaking ground, so construction costs were predetermined based on the profits from selling the units early. We developed value engineering solutions to create more cost-effective results, including conducting work-in-place inspections to solve issues before building out each unit.
