The redevelopment of Saskatoon Airport Authority’s terminal curbside area included the reconfiguration of the existing parking lot to allow the curbside access road to be split into two separate roads; a commercial side for taxis and public transit and a public side for passenger vehicles.

PCL’s Special Projects division constructed a canopy to provide shelter and seating for patrons while they wait for transportation. A significant amount of planning and coordination took place to ensure construction continued unencumbered while the pick-up and drop-off areas remained accessible and safe. The upgrades allow for a larger number of vehicles to come and go from the airport, getting passengers safely and quickly to their destination.
