The Sunridge Mall renovation and expansion brings a new look and modern standards to the mature shopping center. The enhanced curb appeal and new architecture helped the client lease out new spaces during a challenging rental market.

As new tenants one by one secured spaces in the renovated and expanded mall, we adjusted our agile project delivery plan to preserve the original vision and met Primaris’ operational needs. 

Public access is a priority when constructing, expanding or renovating retail destinations. Work was completed on this renovation and expansion while the mall remained open. We kept a spotlight on public safety throughout construction by maintaining fire exits and systems and placing controls on construction limits and sequences. Abating hazardous materials in such a public place also required detailed planning and sequencing.

Sunridge Mall is the major shopping center of its type in Calgary’s northeast, and is bigger and better than ever.
