With only 400 parking spots, the University of California Riverside was looking to expand its parking capacity for its more than 21,000 students. A new multistory parking structure would increase capacity for parking and help wayfinding on the campus. It was a no brainer to establish a new student parking facility with 1,200 spots.

In addition to addressing the parking shortage on campus, the above grade building will add a visually-appealing aesthetic to the grounds with a bold, blue tower and archway ribbon. We are taking pedestrian safety into account throughout design and including dedicated pathways to ensure little crossover with vehicle traffic.
